Benny's Restaurant & Cantina
301 E 7th Ave, Denver, East Pleasant View,
Benny's is what it is... its not some super uppity santa fe style Mexican place. Its cheap, food is good with a wide variety, and in a good location... i recommend but don't go for great atmosphere, because yes its packed and loud. Go when your planning to drink margs and get your weekend started. I recommend the marg liter with no ice ;)

Denver Chophouse
1735 19th St Ste 100, Denver, East Pleasant View,
Fabulous place to entertain your guests! When you compare prices of the Chop House to the cost of catering and decorating banquet halls, hotels or mansions, this is where you want to be. The ambiance is built in and the food is nothing less than spectacular. The Caboose Room opens to a patio that guests loved. I wish I had a better vocabulary to describe the waitstaff. They were very kind, pleasant, professional, helpful, and extraordinary in every way - even in dealing with our over-imbibed idiot family member. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again, or to recommend that you give them serious consideration. (I would hold off telling anyone to visit Sing Sing before or after the reception though. Although this is usually a fun place to go, their door people (bouncers?) were sleazy and too thuglike for my liking. There are much better places nearby anyway.)

Ethiopian Restaurant

I love the food here and the staff is wonderful. I had to bring my own containers for a large take-out order (for 10 people), but it was worth it. Never have a problem getting a table.

Golden Europe Restaurant
6620 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, East Pleasant View,
This is my favorite European restaurant ever. Be prepared to wait to be seated, but it is absolutely worth the wait! My favorite is the Jager Schnitzel, it is tender and creamy, the potato pancakes are the best, and for a real treat try the liver dumpling soup! The Svickova is really tasty and the bread dumplings just cannot be beat! If you love German and Czech food, or have never had it and want to try it, this is the place to go!

Jerusalem Restaurant
1890 E Evans Ave, Denver, East Pleasant View,
I thought I didn't like lamb until I tried the beef and lamb gyro. It was delicious, I was full and I had to finish the whole thing. The atmosphere feels out of Colorado, it reminded me of a small restaurant in Ethiopia. It's a little chilly inside during the night, so bring a jacket. The service isn't the friendliest, but that didn't bother me that much. It's my new favorite place. Don't let the shabby appearance fool you, this restaurant is amazing.
